What an absolutely lovely invite to contribute to the staging of this wonderful exhibition of the the book The Lost Words

I was too ill to make the opening on Friday but will make many visits over the coming year to see and document it.

Really do hope you go to see it and just become even more inspired and connected. So many beautiful offshoot projects from this book is testament that it really has had a profound influence.

Original artwork by Jackie Morris and English poems by Robert Macfarlane and Welsh Poems by Mererid Hopwood will be on display.  The exhibition is a collaboration between National Parks, National Museum of Wales, Compton Verney and publishers Hamish Hamilton and Penguin Books.

My willow tree holds taxidermied beings from the museums collection. Their presence a reminder of their claim to this land and place.
