Ancient Connections The Saints

This commission was to be used with the communities of West Wales an

d South East Ireland as a vessel to collect and gather thoughts, ideas, hopes and wishes and  all kinds of good things that could inspire and connect these two Celtic peoples in their shared histories and cultures.  The Welsh Saint David and the Irish Saint Aiden where a catalyst for story and myth gathering. I was asked to create a boat, vessel of willow for people to attach and places their thoughts, objects and hopes for the project as it progressed from St Davids to Wexford.
